At Yoga In Classrooms and Schools Consulting, we identify needs and develop sustainable yoga and/or mindfulness interventions for both students and staff.

Our programming is:

Our Goals:

 
  1. Identify the most pressing needs related to yoga and mindfulness in the community.

  2. Develop and co-create yoga and mindfulness interventions to meet the identified need(s)

  3. Train and support teachers in the facilitation of yoga and mindfulness programming through observation, feedback, and ongoing professional development

  4. Gather, analyze, and present data on the efficacy of the interventions

 

Our Results:

Out of thirty-seven 8th graders at The Crossroads School who completed their end of year survey for school year 2020-2021,

54% indicated that they are more able to regulate their emotions with yoga than without it.

 
 

Out of thirty-nine 7th graders who completed their end of semester survey in January 2022 after taking yoga during the fall semester,

85% indicated that they were more able to regulate their emotions while taking yoga than they were in the semesters where they weren’t taking yoga.
